We will start the day driving north of the city, we will visit the Middle of the World Monument, then taking the road towards the coast of Ecuador, we will drive through the “Paseo del Quinde, ”The Hummingbird Route”, until we arrive to the Village of Mindo.

Here it’s possible to see more than 20 different species of Hummingbirds in one hour, in this area, there are over 300 species of orchids and around 500 species of butterflies. With over 1630 species of bird life, no other country in the world has a greater diversity of birds in such a small area as Ecuador.
