Pick up time at your Hotel or accommodation in the city or near the Airport at 9am, we will drive towards the North East side of Quito, driving pass the valley of Guayabamba.

We will drive towards the town of Cayambe named after its snow cap of  5,750 mts elevation, one of the highest in the country; the first stop will be at the Middle of the World 0”00”000”” site called “Quitsato” this Giant Sun Dial is located at the Equator, here you will receive a 25 minutes tour of the site where you will learn about the facts and the very special location of our country with relation to the Sun and the starts.

We will visit a Rose Grower to learn the secrets of the well-know amazing quality of the Ecuadorian Rose, we will enjoy a cup of coffee at the plantation, and a souvenir for you!

We will drive towards the town of Cayambe located on the foot of this snow cap 5,750 mts elevation, one of the highest in the country, we will visit a “Biscocho Maker” learn about the secrets of this unique local biscuit as well as the traditional Agave Honey: Chawar Misky” and its fermented drink. We will then walk to the Chocolate Factory to witness the making of one of the Best Organic Chocolate Makers in the nation, “Hoja Verde” they use local unique Organic Certificate of Origen Cacao Beans from the National Variety: Fino de Aroma, you will sample 60%, 72% and 80% Dark Chocolate as well as exquisite combinations such as: Roses, Lemon, Golden Berry, Coffee, and more; at this factory also they do Coffee Beans Roasting, one of the best brands in the country “Velez”

Return to your Hotel in Quito or Airport Hotel around 2 pm, (we can stop of lunch in the area, optional)
